Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Arusha
You’ll be met as you arrive at Kilimanjaro airport and driven for about 50 minutes to Hotel in Arusha. There are pretty bird-filled gardens, a spa and a pool, peftect for relaxing after your journey.

Day 2: To Tarangire National Park
After breakfast you’ll leave with your driver-guide for the journey to Tarangire National Park, about 2 hours. You’ll spend the day game viewing from the 4×4 vehicle with your guide using his experience and expertise to give you and your family the best safari experience. You’ll stop for a scrummy picnic lunch. Your home for the next 2 nights is Tarangire Safari Lodge which has a comfy lounge, boutique and an outdoor pool and paddling pool.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park
You have a full day to explore the wildlfe of the national park which includes large herds of elephant, giraffe, zebra, buffalo and plenty of big cats. There are over 300 species of birds, too. This will be an exciting day for the whole family and/or group. Your driver-guide will tailor the safari to suit your wishes, so you can choose if you stay out all day with a picnic lunch or return to the lodge for lunch and a siesta before going out again in the late afternoon.

Day 4: To Serengeti National Park
You will leave Tarangire after breakfast for the full day’s game viewing drive to the Serengeti. You’ll pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with varied scenery including forests, grassy plains and imposing volcanic peaks. You’re staying at Serengeti Sopa Lodge for the next 2 nights. This comfortable lodge has a spacious dining area and you can also enjoy meals al fresco. There is a lounge, a terrace and a large oudoor swimming pool.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park
A full day in the world-famous Serengeti offers you the chance to see the lion, elephant, buffalo and leopard as well as giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and cheetah. The lanscape is dominated by vast, grassy plains with occasional rocky outcrops and acacia woodland. The park is well known as the scene of the annual migration of the herds to the Masai Mara, but a safari here is a great experience at any time of year as there are always resident herds in the park.

Day 6: To the Ngorongoro Crater
This morning you will be driven to the Ngorongoro Crater, another superb area for game viewing. You’ll get wonderful views from the rim before you head down. The crater is about 16 miles in diameter and is home to a wide range of wildlife including lion, buffalo, rhino, elephant, antelope and wildebeest. If you’re lucky you may spot leopard. Tonight you’ll stay at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge which has lovely gardens and an inviting swimming pool.

Day 7: To Zanzibar
Your safari is over and it’s time for the beach! you’ll be driven to Arusha, where you bid farewell to your driver-guide and board the plane to Zanzibar. You’ll be met on arrival and driven for an hour or so to Breezes Beach Club, your home for the next 4 nights. The resort has everything you need for the prefect beach holiday, a long, sandy beach, a freeform pool, no less than 4 restaurants, several bars and a spa. Settle in and let the friendly staff look after you.

Days 8 to 10: – On Zanzibar
You have 3 full days to enjoy island life. You can try your hand at various watersports, go for a relaxing cruise on a traditional dhow, visit the local village and meet the people and take excursions to various places of interest on the island including the turtle rescue programme. Mind you, there’s no pressure to venture any further than Breezes, so why not spend your time sunbathing and swimming and pondering where to have lunch and dinner.

Day 11: Depart
Enjoy breakfast and prepare to depart. You’ll be driven to the airport in time to check in for your flight home. If your flight home is booked from Kilimanjaro or Dar Es Salaam, we can book the relevant domestic flight for you and arrange any overnight accommodation and transfers you may need if applicable.
